If you haven't noticed, (Look to your left) I've been bustin out as many fanarts as possible for the last week or two in order to prepare myself for Otafest. Fun? Yes, quite. This year I'll be sketching at my table as opposed to last year where I just frolicked around hoping my prints would sell themselves. (Well, they did but more money won't hurt)

This year I had a grand cosplay planned, however due to ACAD's 2nd year Design program all of that went out the window pretty fast. So, chances are I'll be attempting it next year instead. So what do I have planned this time? Nothing special really. It's going to be like Visual Kei meets Uchiha Sasuke. Yea, laugh it up.

Alright I should get back to work, I still have to redesign Sephonie the Angel of Death aka Otafest's lame mascot and recreate Deity for the... 4th time?

My family just got a Wii like 3 days ago and I've been playing Super Smash Brawl trying to become "pro" at it asap. Currently I think my main will be Pikachu, Falco or Ike in that order from who I play best with atm. I really want to try Wolf though, haven't found the time to unlock him yet. Btw, if you're good add my ID so we can duke it out some time, 1vs1ing lvl9 Computers is starting to get too easy for me.

Iron Man is possibly one of the best Super Hero movies up to date, though many can argue thats not that big of an accomplishment. After watching the movie I let myself get sucked into the Marvel Universe a little more.

I just finished reading all issues that covered the Civil War event and caught up with the most recent Avengers: The Initiative issue. Now I'm digging for the World War Hulk series ;d Both were fairly good, especially Civil War. I can't believe there are people who still think comics are for kids, the characters and themes are so incredibly sophisticated nowadays.

Speaking of shit for kids, for all of you hardcore Spiderman fans (and I actually mean hardcore). How the hell can you put up with how they raped the character with Brand New Day? Why couldn't they just let Aunt May die and use that as another staple event in Peter's life on top of Ben's death and Gwen's death to grow the character even further? Fuck now hes back to his lame webshooters and its like he reverted from married, mature, teacher and long time savior to unemployed, single, lame teenage hero with acne problems.

I know the argument was to appeal to younger audiences, but fact is, Spiderman's old and destroying years and years of character development is injustice. Why couldn't they just make a new "What if" series that explores Peter's past some more before he "grew up"? Or better yet start making newer characters within the Marvel universe that people will actually give a flying fuck about and let Spiderman fade back as a mentor?

It's stupid, really, the only other logical solution was killing Peter Parker off and letting one of the new Scarlet Spiders take up the mantle. Parallel to what happened with Captain America, what with Steve Rogers being replaced by Bucky.

I just don't get why Aunt May couldn't die. It would have reenforced his resolve to be against the Super Human Registration Act and made complete sense with the post-Civil-War-storyline making him one of the key vigilantes left from the event. Stupid, stupid, stupid Marvel.

So anyway, if you're new to Spider-Man comics. This is the time to jump in because Marvel hit the reset button.

So I recently finished every episode up to date of The Office, South Park, The Simpsons, Family Guy and American Dad and rewatched Scrubs for the 3rdish time. Totally out of funny shows to watch since I can't find a site that provides every episode of Arrested Development that's not hosted by Hulu which is regional to the United States.

I started watching Weeds which is also pretty damn good but it almost feels like it glorifies the Liberal lifestyle a little too much. I mean its all very true to our day and age but the least they could do is make the conservative characters a little less retarded, they're complete blundering idiots. That and I hate young characters, I mean Shane is growing on me a bit but his older brother is such a dumbass twat (Why is he even a part of the cast? He provides nothing but boring and contrive teenage drama that has very little tie-ins with the main storyline.)

Any other suggestions that I haven't mentioned? Oh right, no Anime. Since I can't work and watch it at the same time I won't be able to understand anything they're saying. Dubbs are a no-go.
