Been kind of lazy with commissions ever since my birthday but don't worry folks, I'm on track again! So clients ought to make sure they check their DA notes since I sent out like... 3 preliminary sketches today.

Oh yea, that convention. I guess I'll have to start prepping some more work for it once I get commissions out of the way. I'm also in the middle of Sacred Seasons 2 work soooo I'll be having a busy, busy Summer as usual.

Though, I'm not sure how the hell I'm going to prepare for Animethon, since I don't really know "Anime" or "Manga" anymore. Haha 8D;;



</ANIMU+MANGA NO MORE?!>

I digress, lately I've been finding it increasingly difficult to watch an Anime & Manga without feeling irritated or annoyed at the characters, plots, themes and ultimately "art". I just can't seem to get into anything people introduce to me... and with the current buzz of Hetalia, Code Gayass, KHR, Black Butler and other garbage I feel more detached from the culture than I ever have. D;

Fortunately, I've found a new love for Comics and Cartoons. Recently I've re-read several Marvel events (Civil War, World War Hulk, Secret Invasion and currently catching up on Dark Reign and War of Kings)

I've also picked up on some DC releases, mostly Batman though since the shit that was "Final Crisis" scared me away from all the other titles (dumbest crossover I've ever read, surprising since "Infinite Crisis" wasn't that bad... but still nothing compared to what Marvel does with crossovers imo.)

Anyway, I'm currently trying to read everything that's tied in with DC's "Batman: Reborn" and Marvel's "Dark Reign" / "War of Kings" events. (Gotham City Sirens is so silly...)

As for Cartoons, I'm re-watching all 3 Seasons of Venture Brothers for the 2nd time. Man this show is so awesome that I'm willing to waste time doing fanart of it, I can't wait for Season 4 @_@!

I also heard Futurama's coming back soon. Good times.
